Who this policy covers
This policy describes information handled when you visit money.you, use a money.you calculator embedded on another secure website, enable browser notifications, or email the money.you Editorial Desk. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to hello@money.you.
Information processed when you visit
The web server, hosting provider, and security systems may process routine request information needed to deliver and protect the site. This can include an IP address, request date and time, requested URL, referring site, browser or device information, response status, and security or error events. An embedded calculator still loads from money.you, so the same routine request processing applies.
Why request data is used
Request data may be used to serve pages, diagnose failures, maintain security, prevent abuse, understand aggregate service demand, and comply with lawful requests.
Calculator inputs and browser features
Calculator values are read by JavaScript in the open browser page. The application does not submit those values to money.you or save them as a financial profile. Share and copy controls create text in your browser. A destination app or website selected through the browser has its own privacy practices.
Browser notifications and RollerAds
RollerAds provides the SDK4PUSH service used to offer browser notifications and related advertising. The SDK loads from sdk4push.com. If you allow notifications, it may register a service worker and create a browser push subscription. RollerAds or its service providers may process an IP address, browser and device details, referrer, site identifier, click identifier when present, notification permission or subscription status, push token, and interaction or delivery information needed to operate and measure the service.
Your notification choice
A browser permission prompt is optional. You may deny it without losing access to guides or calculators. You can later revoke permission, clear site data, or remove the subscription in your browser settings. These actions are controlled by your browser, and delivery may also involve the browser vendor's push infrastructure.
Cookies, storage, and third-party measurement
The money.you application does not place calculator inputs in cookies, local storage, or session storage. RollerAds and its providers may use cookies, local storage, service workers, identifiers, or similar technology for subscription management, delivery, fraud prevention, frequency control, attribution, and advertising measurement. Their processing is governed by their own policies and applicable law.
Information you choose to send
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and anything you attach. We use that information to reply, investigate a correction or accessibility report, protect the service, or address a legal request. Do not send account numbers, card data, passwords, government identifiers, credit reports, or private financial documents.
Editorial and publishing systems
The Docs Library integration transfers article text, metadata, links, and cover images into money.you's publishing system. Published article records and schedules are stored in MySQL, while cover images are stored with the site. This workflow handles editorial material, not calculator inputs or visitor financial profiles.
When information may be disclosed
Information may be available to providers that operate hosting, security, database, email, notification, or advertising services for money.you, subject to their role. It may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or complete a legitimate transfer of the website. money.you does not currently sell visitor personal information. Third-party notification and advertising processing is described above.
Retention and security
Contact correspondence, request logs, security records, and third-party subscription records may be kept only as long as reasonably needed for their stated purposes, operational continuity, dispute handling, fraud prevention, or legal obligations. Retention can differ by record and provider. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
Your choices and requests
You may use the public site without an account and without allowing notifications. Sharing, copying, printing, embedding, and notification permission are optional. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of personal information. Email hello@money.you with enough detail to identify your request. We may need to verify that the request concerns you, and legal exceptions may apply.
External sites, children, and policy changes
Links and embedded third-party services have their own privacy practices. A site that embeds a calculator also controls its surrounding page. money.you is a general-audience educational publication and does not knowingly solicit personal information from children through accounts or forms. We may revise this policy when features or data practices change, and the date above will identify the current version.
